"And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." John 8:32

PERFECT WEATHER IS FINALLY HERE!!! And I've been enjoying it so much.

This is my little scarecrow sign I put on our door to bring in Fall. I love him!

Yesterday, me Hunter and the boys went to this cute cute cute garden center to pick out a pumpkin. I found these amazing mums and a perfect sized pumpkin for our bistro! It's called a cinderella pumpkin.

I turned off my air today and opened up the windows!!! The air is so fresh and the breeze feels amazing. Come on, it's fall! You gotta open the windows!

This is my fall tradition- a cinnamon scented broom. They smell soooooo good! You can get them from Publix for $3.99

Just look at the sky. So incredible. Fall in Tennessee is the best!!!

and then I found this furry little spider, a little bigger than my thumb nail. He was feasting on this poor bug...... so I killed it. I hate spiders.

It's faaaallllll!!!!!! The best time of the year :) Now go drink some pumpkin spiced coffee and hot apple cider!

Vito and some home-made goodies

The many sarcastic faces of Vito.....

New shoes!!!!
My new shoes finally came in the mail!! This is my 4th pair of Saucony Progrid Rides... I LOVE THEM! I have to say, I wasn't thrilled about driving out to Fleet Feet to pay $90 for them. I decided to check on the internet for better deals before I forked over my bank account. I stumbled across this site called activelyyours.com and found them for $50! Such an EXTREMELY pleasant surprise :)

I baked these little lovelies for Analee's bachelorette. They're mini muffins with 2 kinds of chocolate chips, hazelnuts and my favorite addition to baked yummies- pure vanilla extract.

Well, it's friday night and here we are with the boys. They love their uncle Hunter!

I attempted to make home-made shepherd's pie. I guess you could say I made it up as I went... a little worried about the outcome.

BUT the shepherd's pie was a hit! :) The boys loved it and even ate some salad. I'll definitely be making this dish again!

After dinner, I made some watermelon slushies in the blender and the boys are gathered in front of the tv with their uncle Hunter watching the first Ninja Turtles. Gotta love friday nights like this :)

pretty hand picked flowers!

These are the final results of the wild flowers I picked this weekend. I drove all over to gather them- Leipers Fork, Fairview, Spring Hill! Then I spent about 4-ish hours making them into arrangements.

And these handsome little devils spent the night with me Saturday night. This is them Sunday morning. They are such little boogers! I love them!

Here are the decorations for the shower I helped with. We wanted to go with a southern barn theme, since that's the wedding location. Miriam Chesbro had amazing ideas! She hand made that flag runner. It's so cute!

The sun is a little bright in these pictures, but I thought our food table came together nicely!

We served carrot cake, ooey gooey bars, mint chocolate brownies, fruit with fruit dip, spinach spanikopita,  hummus and pita, cream cheese with raspberry chipotle sauce and crackers and fruit tea!

That's Tyler and Analee in the pictures. Analee is such a sweet girl and she has such a huge heart for the Lord. I felt truly blessed to be a part of giving her the shower.

pretty sure this is why they call TN God's country...

I went on a bit of an adventure today to find some wild flowers for a sweet little wedding shower I'm helping with this Sunday. This is a park off of Kedron that I've found myself at often. I love running there b/c it's quiet and pretty. It's surrounded by historic farmland where part of the Civil War was fought.

So after 3 1/2 hours of wild flower hunting, these are the beauties I brought home.

My favorite are the big yellow ones by the candle. And they smell absolutely amazing!!!

I love living in Spring Hill :)

Vito likes the guitar

Hunter and I had an extremely relaxing labor day. We slept in and cooked breakfast. Then we went to feed the kittens- soooooo cute. Then we headed to the theater to see "All about Steve." After that, we threw on our college thrift store tee's and went to Chic Fil A to get some free chicken sandwhiches!!! Then we walked aaaaallllll around downtown Franklin for 2-ish hours and had a lovely time! We discovered this little exciting place- 108grille.com and we can't wait to go try it out!

Earlier today, Hunter was walking around the house playing guitar (ALWAYS) and we noticed that Vito rather enjoyed it. So Hunter played to him. He was so cute laying there and listening, so intrigued. I had to get a picture!

This pic is my favorite.  Vito stared at Hunter like that the whole time he played :)

I hope everyone had an amazing labor day!!
